100 Treatment Practicum on Laser Hair Removal
Level II (Laser Hair Removal Technician): 100 Treatment Practicum
Full Tuition Fee: $895 (Klarna will be available for split payments for qualifying students)
Deposit To Reserve: $400 Balance of $495 would be due 2 days before the scheduled date.
Course Hours: 4-5 hrs. total (In-Person Hands-On Only Practice)
Requirements to ENROLL: The student must call (713-539-3458) or text (254-237-3467) for availability to schedule their one-on-one 100 treatment practice. The student must have their Apprentice license number.
The Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR) requires Laser Hair Removal Technicians (Apprentice in Training Level) to complete the 100 Treatment Practicum to excel to the Laser Hair Removal Technicians Level.
There will be no lecture only practice that normally takes approximately 5 hours to complete. The student will perform 100 treated areas on 4 different live models (1-hour treatments per model scheduled back to back). The student will perform these laser treatments under the direct supervision and guidance of either a Registered Licensed Senior or a Licensed Professional Laser Hair Removal Technician.
*The student is required to work on (4) models for the 100 Treatment Practicum. If the student cannot find models, please contact us to help. Keep in mind that if a model does not show up we may have to reschedule.
Once the student finalizes this practice, they will receive documents proving they have completed their required practicum to electronically submit to TDLR to obtain their License as a Laser Hair Removal Technician. This license allows you to perform laser treatments without direct supervision in an established facility that is overseen by a Medical Director (medical spa, clinic, or doctor’s office).
*TDLR’s License Processing: fee is $70, and time may take 2-4 weeks.
