COURSE INFORMATION:
The Neurotoxins (Botox) Injectables Certification Training at La Vida Laser & Aesthetics Institute provides comprehensive education and practical training in the safe and effective use of botulinum toxin for cosmetic facial enhancement. This hybrid course combines the flexibility of self-paced online learning with an intensive 1-day hands-on clinical workshop, designed to prepare students for real-world practice in aesthetic injectables.
Upon enrollment, students will gain immediate access to the online portion of the course. The Institute will then contact each student within 2–4 weeks of enrollment to schedule their in-person clinical training session at our Houston Tx training facility.
There are no prerequisites for enrollment/training; however, a medical background is highly recommended.
Please note that neurotoxin treatments are medical-level procedures, and Medical Director supervision is required to perform these treatments in practice. Students are responsible for staying informed on current medical board laws and regulations, including those pertaining to MD coverage and scope of practice in their state or jurisdiction.
This course is designed to provide a complete foundation in both the theoretical and clinical aspects of cosmetic neurotoxin treatments.

Glabellar Lines (Frown Lines)
Frontalis (Forehead Lines)
Orbicularis Oculi (Crow’s Feet)
Botulinum toxin type A is a purified neurotoxic protein that temporarily relaxes targeted muscles responsible for dynamic wrinkles—those formed by repeated facial expressions. By preventing muscle contraction, neurotoxin injections smooth the overlying skin and help restore a youthful, refreshed appearance.
In the United States, the following FDA-approved botulinum toxin brands are used for cosmetic indications:
Botox® Cosmetic (onabotulinumtoxinA – Allergan Aesthetics)
Dysport® (abobotulinumtoxinA – Galderma)
Xeomin® (incobotulinumtoxinA – Merz Aesthetics)
Jeuveau® (prabotulinumtoxinA – Evolus)
Daxxify® (daxibotulinumtoxinA-lanm – Revance Therapeutics)
Upon successful completion of the course, students will receive a Certificate of Completion in Neurotoxin Injectables Training in the areas: Frontalis / Glabella / Orbicularis Oculi from La Vida Laser & Aesthetics Institute.
