Botulinum Toxin Facial Cosmetic Injectables (Neurotoxins) is considered a medical cosmetic procedure used by Injecting small quantities of botulinum toxin into overactive muscles causing the muscles to temporarily relax the facial muscles that cause wrinkles. These injections block certain chemical signals from nerves that cause muscles to contract.

Preceptorship
4 hours of in-person training with PA instructor and live models. Once the student has completed the injectables foundational courses there will be a thorough consultation with PA instructor to evaluate what techniques and products the student would like to focus on for additional training. Current market pricing for the product necessary will be calculated and must be paid in full before scheduling the class date. La Vida Aesthetics Institute can assist in acquiring the appropriate models for the treatments necessary.
Admission Requirements:
- The minimum age for admissions is at least 18 years at the date of application.
- Students must have attained a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- Proficiency in English and/or Spanish for Spanish-instructed courses.
- Students must possess licensure as either a physician, a physician assistant, or a nurse in order to perform Neurotoxin/ Dermal Fillers Injectables.
- Students may enroll if they work under the direct supervision of a physician and within the physician’s medical practice with submission of completed MD sponsorship form
Student Acknowledgement of the School’s Refund Policy
Students enrolling in any courses agree to the following:
- Refunds for hybrid courses are determined by the total course hours. Once students have login access, refunds are based on the entire course duration, with online hours treated as full hours, regardless of actual online time. This policy ensures fair refunds from the moment students gain login access.
- There will be no refunds after the student has completed the course. Any materials, supplies, equipment, or other purchases are non-refundable.
- Non-attendance or cancellation for in-person courses only without using any clock hours including student portal will result in the forfeiture of a $100 processing fee, per course.
- The termination’s effective date for refund purposes will be the earliest occurrence of receiving written notice from the student via email.
