COURSE INFORMATION:

The Dermal Filler Injector: Lips Course at La Vida Laser & Aesthetics Institute provides comprehensive, hands-on training in one of the most in-demand aesthetic procedures—lip augmentation with hyaluronic acid dermal fillers. This course is designed to teach safe, effective, and natural-looking lip enhancement techniques through a combination of in-depth theoretical learning and practical clinical experience.

Course Format:

  • Total Duration: 8 hours

  • Online Theory: 4 hours, self-paced — must be completed prior to the in-person session

  • In-Person Clinical Training: 4 hours, 1-day hands-on class scheduled 2–4 weeks after online enrollment

Course Overview:
Lip filler treatments use injectable hyaluronic acid–based dermal fillers to enhance lip volume, define borders, and improve overall symmetry. This medical-level treatment can help patients achieve fuller, smoother, and more youthful lips with natural-looking results.

During the online theory portion, students will cover:

  • Anatomy and physiology of the lips

  • Filler types, product selection, and rheology

  • Injection techniques and lip mapping

  • Managing complications and patient safety

  • Pre- and post-treatment care

The in-person training session includes a full review of the online material, a live demonstration by the instructor, and hands-on practice using one syringe of dermal filler on a live model under direct supervision.

Eligibility Requirements:
This is an advanced medical-level aesthetic course. Students must hold a medical background (RN, NP, PA, MD, DDS, etc.) or have completed the Neurotoxins (Botox) Certification Course at La Vida Laser prior to enrollment.

Upon completion, students will receive a Certificate of Completion. Graduates are responsible for obtaining a medical director and ensuring compliance with all state regulations and scope of practice guidelines before performing dermal filler injections independently.

Admission Requirements:

    • The minimum age for admissions is at least 18 years at the date of application.
    • Students must have attained a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
    • Proficiency in English and/or Spanish for Spanish instructed course.
    • Students must possess licensure as either a physician, a physician assistant, a nurse or have MD in order to perform Dermal Fillers Injectables.
    • Students may enroll in our dermal filler classes if they work under the direct supervision of a physician and within the physician’s medical practice or sign an acknowledgment waiver.
    • Students may enroll in course after completing acknowledgement of current regulations.

Student Acknowledgement of the School’s Refund Policy

Students enrolling in any courses agree to the following:

  • Refunds for hybrid courses are determined by the total course hours. Once students have login access, refunds are based on the entire course duration, with online hours treated as full hours, regardless of actual online time. This policy ensures fair refunds from the moment students gain login access.
  • There will be no refunds after the student has completed the course. Any materials, supplies, equipment, or other purchases are non-refundable.
  • Non-attendance or cancellation for in-person courses only without using any clock hours including student will result in the forfeiture of a $100 processing fee, per course.
  • The termination’s effective date for refund purposes will be the earliest occurrence of receiving written notice from the student via email.
